Lincoln, Montana offers a wealth of recreational activities. Along with camping, fishing, and hunting, there are rodeos, snowmobiling, and sightseeing. And so much more! You will find spectacular fishing in alpine lakes, the Blackfoot River, and the many mountain drainages surrounding Lincoln. Or maybe you’d prefer to spend your summer days hiking, backpacking, or mountain biking. Whether your idea of a vacation is spending time in the great outdoors or visiting museums, art shows, and quaint shops, Lincoln, Montana is the place for you.

Each year our little town is transformed into a playground for all outdoor enthusiasts. In the winter we have over 250 groomed snowmobile trails proudly maintained by our own Ponderosa Snow Warriors. In the spring our wildflowers and birdwatching enthusiasts are out in full force to see everything that our beautiful valley has to offer. In the summer there is never a dull moment in Lincoln. We kick off our summer right with Memorial Day and we don’t stop until at least the first day of Fall. Our 4th of July celebration is one of a kind and brings folks from all over Montana and other states. Our rodeo parade kicks off the 4th of July festivities every year. In 2014 we had the first ever Lincoln Bike Rally. We had motorcyclists from all over Montana and neighboring states. It was a great success for our first year. Our annual Flea Market in Hooper Park is always a draw for folks coming to Lincoln. Art in the Park and Lincolnstock round out August with great fun for everyone. September brings out the car enthusiasts and we have car shows on Main Street. In the fall, hunting dominates the scene and we have lots of folks that come up to Lincoln to go into the backcountry in the Scapegoat Wilderness and Bob Marshall Wilderness.

People have been coming to Lincoln for many years because they want to Experience OUR Montana.
